Dive Guide
The Dive Guide program is the first step on an exciting journey as a Dive Professional. Learn to safely lead certified divers in various environments and conditions. This programs provides you the skills to conduct dive briefings, completing dive site evaluations, and leading dives, you will become a confident Dive Guide in no time. Begin your dving career working as a Professional Dive Guide or continue the qualifications for Divemaster.
Course Content:
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age: 15 years of age (must be 18 years old to be certified as an Active Dive Guide)
- 40 Logged Dives totaling 25 hours or more
- Have a SSI certifications in Diver Stress & Rescue or equivalent from a recognized training agency
- Have a SSI certifications or equivalent from a recognized training agency as a Deep Diver, Advanced Navigation and Night & Limited Visibility or show proof of (5) logged experience dives in each of area
- Recommended to be certified in Enriched Air Nitrox
What Do I Need:
- Notepad/Computer/Ipad
- Calculator, digital dive tables, dive computer
- Access to the SSI Training Standards
- All personal Dive Gear, including Tanks and Weights

Training Materials:
SSI Digital Dive Guide Materials. Complete Academic Sessions, Final Exam with a score of 90%, Candidate Water Fitness Evaluation and pass all requirements and evaluations for Practical Sessions.
Training Dives:
- Open Water Training Certification Dives at a local location TBD.
